How I Save Hundreds Of Dollars On Household Products Each Year

I'm not going to make you read 10 paragraphs of nonsense before I actually tell you how I save big but there are a few things to add.

This is not extreme couponing
This is for people who have a full schedule and don't have the time to be a full-time couponer (because it IS a full-time job) but still want to save on household essentials. Last year I saved about $600 on laundry detergent, dryer sheets fabric softener, dish liquid, toilet paper, paper towels, air fresheners hair care, and pretty much anything you need.

Here is how I do it.

Dollar General/ Family Dollar weekly deals.

Let me explain.

These stores offer coupons to people who sign up. It's completely free. You can add these coupons easily and apply them when you're in the store. You can use these coupons on anything but if you add the right ones you can save some pretty big bucks. Is it as extreme as couponing? No. I generally save about $13 or more per deal. ( I do the Dollar General deals because I don't have a Family dollar near me. You only do these deals on Saturdays, I'll get to that in a sec.) But it really depends on the deal.

How do you do them? I'll leave that to the professionals.
Go to Youtube.com
Search: 5 off of 25 all digital deals (type in Saturdays date or go to filters and click most recent)
Click a deal that suits you!

If you're running low on detergent then do a detergent deal!

It doesn't hurt to try.

Let me know how you're shopping goes and remember to stay safe!

DIY Disinfecting Spray (Sorry for the horrid image) As many of you probably noticed our local store shelves are empty of essentials a lot of us need in the waking of the coronavirus. One of these items is disinfecting products. We can't help that people are panic buying but it would be nice to disinfect our house while social distancing. This DIY natural disinfectant does just as good as Clorox does and the ingredients aren't cleared off the shelves. ( Win-win am I right)  What you will need.  Vinegar  Water Dish liquid Instructions:  Pour equal parts vinegar and dish liquid in a spray bottle. Then fill the rest of the bottle with warm water. Spray on surfaces and get them sparkling clean. ;)

Should you buy a weighted blanket? Is it worth the price tag?

As long as I could remember I have always had trouble sleeping. My brain never seemed to shut off. Constantly thinking about things I want to try, places I want to go to, what college I want to go to, and all the awkward things I did last week. No matter how hard I tried I could never go to sleep. I eventually had to turn to sleep pills which wasn't good since I was only around ten years old at the time. My parents would only give me one tablet to help me get to sleep but I would always wake up in the middle of the night and be unable to fall back asleep. We were on a mission to figure out a non-addictive way to have a somewhat normal sleep schedule. That's when we stumbled upon  melatonin  which is a hormone the body naturally produces which mainly controls sleep. After trying a dissolvable melatonin tablet I found that it was my answer. I still felt iffy about depending on something like medicine ( even though melatonin is completely natural) to go to sleep every nigh...
Can Men Be Feminists? The short answer is yes!  Let me tell you why.  First of all, there is nothing wrong with supporting women's rights. There has been a term floating around about male feminists saying that they are "simps"  ( slang ) A man who foolishly overvalues a woman and puts her on a pedestal. This term is being thrown left and right and it makes young men who are forming their own opinions on modern issues not want to join the movement :(. Or in better terms make supporting women's rights a negative thing. Respecting women and advocating for their rights is NOT a bad thing. We need as many as possible to fight and spread awareness.
